Pink Tourmaline is a beautiful crystal in milkshake pink colour, its appearance is gem-like. Clevelandite is the rustic white rock part of the specimen.

Tourmaline forms in pockets of rocks that hot lava has cooled down and crystallizes. It is a crystalline silicate specimen, specifically: Boron silicate.

The presence of Manganese is what causes the Tourmaline to become pink. Clevelandite is a variety of Albite, a member of the Feldspar mineral group.

It has pyroelectric capabilities, meaning it can conduct electricity when it reaches high temperatures.
