It may seems dull on the outside, but on the inside, there are gorgeous iridescent flashes of metallic purples, pinks, blues & greens.

Abalone is a type of Mother-of-Pearl found in the waters off New Zealand. It comes from an eponymous mullosk that has detached from the shell. Comprising of the organic materials from the mullosk and Aragonite and Calcite minerals, giving it it's beautiful shimmer.
