Snowflake Obsidian is a gorgeous variation of Obsidian that is primarily black in colour and has distinctive white patterns that resemble snowflakes.

Obsidian is a natural glass that forms from Volcanic lava cooling down rapidly. This glass eventually turns into rock, this is a geological process called devitrification.

The glass is formed almost instantaneous, and doesn't have a consistent crystal structure.

The Obisidan hardens and surrounding minerals; feldspar and silicic acids crystallize in the Obsidian, giving it its unique Snowflake patterns.
