Green Epidote is a fascinating crystal, moss and grass green in colour with transparent tones of yellow and chartreuse. This particular specimen is Grade A quality green colouring and has lovely crisp-clear Quartz inclusions.
It is formed from hydrothermal activity. Usually found in marble and Schistose rocks.
It may also be an alteration of many different minerals including micas, feldspar and garnets.
